In the latest version of the American Heritage dictionary, practice is spelled with a c in both noun and verb. Following the American definition the dictionary includes the se spelling, and states it is a variant of ce spelling for both verb and noun.

Thank you Library Lady. I would have forgiven an American company (because you like simplified spelling), but this was a British company.
